Lavender Road Trip Christine and I went to the Pennsylvania Lavender Festival on Friday with two of our clients and had a blast. We got to hear lectures about cooking with lavender, attend a workshop on making creams and lotions and pick our own lavender bundle from the beautiful fields. More pictures to follow. Check out www.palavenderfestival.com
Hawaii I'm back from Hawaii but I brought some scents home with me for you to enjoy. Pikake floral scent and Island Dreams (a pineapple scent that people seem to love!). Ask for them with your massage. It was a wonderful trip - I hiked up Diamondhead Crater to enjoy the view of Wakiki Beach. 9-miles and two small blisters but amazing views. We got to see the turtles feed in the morning (me - hiking before breakfast! The six hour time difference gave me a whole new perspective, lol) It is great to be back and to welcome Jill Nelson to our team. Great things happening here at Massuage. Look for an upcoming client appreciation event and some classes in the spring. xxoo Lee This Spring As I'm sure you can imagine, this has been a difficult spring for all of us here at Massuage. Sarah's death, while not unexpected, was such a huge loss. One I will continue to process for a long time. We've been blessed by the love and support of clients and friends and colleagues through this journey. I was thankful to have two trips already planned so I was able to get away and have time to think and reflect. Her picture is on the website under "who we are" and it will stay there because she is such a part of the energy here in the office - she is really part of who we are.Slovenia was a wonderful experience. Nestled between Italy and Croatia, it is a beautiful welcoming country. We saw caverns, lakes, the Mediteranian coastline and the lovely city of Ljubljana. Here's Lake Bled: I was also able to spend some time in Disney World with friends and really enjoyed that trip too. Here in the office, Christine is continuing to grow her client base and offer new and exciting modalities. We have her Ashiatsu bars up and painted and she will begin offering services soon! Hope you're having a great summer, Lee |
